Off the Shoulder Dress

It's no surprise that off the shoulder tops and dresses are taking off like crazy. It's one of my favorite summer trends as it's universally flattering and such a great way to beat the heat.

I've been stocking up my closet with a variety of off the shoulder options. This white number was such an amazing find at one of my favorite thrift shops, Buffalo Exchange. I love that it not only has the off the shoulder feature but is also the perfect white dress for summer. Move on over LBDs, it's all about LWDs now, after all the crisp white color is so chic and easily makes a statement on its own.

What do you think about the off the shoulder trend and do you own a LWD?

Breezy Beach Wear

Suns out, buns out! Actually not really, but I am excited for warmer weather ahead and although that normally means less clothing, I'm choosing a different way to tame the heat.

8 Reasons Why I'm in Love with London and Paris

Recently, I just came back from London and Paris with my family and absolutely fell in love with the two cities. In my 10 days there, we walked about 10-12 miles daily (mainly due to being lost in Paris and really wishing I studied French in high school now..) Everywhere I looked it was breathtaking, and I couldn't stop admiring the beauty of the two cities. London and Paris are obviously different and magnificent for a multitude of reasons, but if I had to narrow down to a few reasons why I'm in complete awe, these would be it.

Paisley Dress

Believe it or not, I've never really been a fan of paisley prints. I just never found a style that was flattering or one that appealed to me. However, when I saw this little number, I gravitated instantly towards the details, and the black and cream color combination easily gave the paisley a bold pop. It also has a bohemian vibe, which I absolutely adore especially for spring/summer time.

Since the print is already busy, I wanted to be careful about styling the dress and keep the accessories minimal. The nude heels and rose handbag were the perfect addition in completing the look.

What are your thoughts on paisley?
