Winter Skincare Brand Review: St. Ives

Winter time is probably my skin's worse nightmare. If you're like me, your skin gets super dry and flaky during this season. It always seems like a lot maintenance to keep up with hydrating yourself and updating to a new regimen that works.

As I've started perusing stores, Influenster was kind enough to send me a couple of items from St. Ives - their Pear Nectar & Soy Body lotion, the Pink Lemon & Mandarin Exfoliating Body Wash,  and the Oatmeal Scrub & Wash

Being a previous user, I was pretty thrilled to check out St. Ives again because I've had a pretty good experience using their products in the past.  Here are some of my thoughts on the three as I've tested them out the past two weeks:

Pear Nectar & Soy Body lotion: Now I'm not being biased because it's my name :) but this smells pretty darn good! It makes a really good "after shower" lotion because it has a subtle sweetness and refreshing scent. Also, I found the consistency super silky and left my arm and legs (major dry spots) feeling really smooth.
Oatmeal Scrub & Mask: Really loved this item out of the three! I'm not a fan of scrubs that have too many beads in it, because it's too abrasive on my skin, but this scrub had perfect amount. I love the creamy texture and consistency. Feels like I'm pampering myself and having a spa moment every time I use it.
The only major con I had was with the Pink Lemon & Mandarin Exfoliating Body Wash. Although it was a great body wash overall in terms of feeling squeaky clean, I did find the fruity scent to be a bit overpowering and didn't find much of an exfoliating element to it.

Have you ever tried St. Ives before and what's your experience like?
